A small software company with a bias for shipping.
Tapansoft builds and runs focused products for hospitality and everyday work. We keep them small, fast and honest about what they do.
Tapansoft started the way most useful software does: with a problem we had ourselves. Running short-term rentals meant juggling calendars, cleaners, receipts and guests across a dozen tools that did not talk to each other. So we built the tools we wished existed, and kept building.
Today that includes DirectStaySites for commission-free direct bookings, QuickBnB for bookkeeping built around short-term rentals, and gERS for the daily operations behind a working rental. Along the way we also built Exeunt, a tiny Mac utility that fixes one of the most annoying things about macOS.
How we work
We prefer plain, dependable technology over fashionable complexity. Our products run on boring, well-understood stacks, store your data where you can reach it, and never take a cut of your revenue. Support comes from the people who wrote the code.
